Michael G. Day
Michael G. Day is the president and principal of The Law Offices of Michael G. Day and Associates, P.C., based in Hagerstown, Maryland. Serving the Maryland counties of Allegany, Carroll, Frederick, Garrett, and Washington, Mr. Day has practiced law in Western Maryland since 1976. His legal expertise spans corporate, real estate, and civil law. Since 1994, his firm has specialized in Elder Law, focusing on asset protection and Medicaid issues.
Mr. Day is a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys (NAELA) and is certified as an Elder Law Attorney (CELA) by the National Elder Law Foundation (not recognized by the State of Maryland). He is a past member of the Elder Law Section Council of the Maryland Bar and the founder and president of The Family Heritage Trust Company in Frederick, Maryland.

CYNTHIA LUNEAU
Since joining the firm in 2003, Cynthia Luneau has helped thousands of families protect their assets from long-term care expenses through estate, VA, and Medicaid planning. Focused on ensuring her clients’ long-term financial security, she assists individuals with powers of attorney, advance medical directives, wills, special needs trusts, and guardianships. Cynthia specializes in helping seniors and their families plan for estate goals and navigate complex benefit programs to manage the high costs of long-term care.
Admitted to the State Bars of Maryland, New York, and Connecticut, as well as the Federal Court of the Southern District of New York, Cynthia earned her JD from Pace University School of Law and her BBA from Western Connecticut State University. Before entering private practice, she served as in-house counsel for consumer product companies and as assistant general counsel for a major beverage company. She is also an accredited attorney with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs and a member of both the Maryland Bar Association and NAELA.

JASON A. FRANK
With over four decades of experience, Jason A. Frank specializes in elder law, disability rights, and Medicaid planning. Admitted to the Supreme Court of the United States and the Maryland Supreme Court, he has co-authored numerous amicus briefs in landmark cases, including DHMH v. Ida Brown and Oak Crest Village, Inc. v. Murphy. As Co-Chair of the Maryland/DC NAELA Public Policy Committee, Jason has been instrumental in advocating for critical legislation, including expanding Medicaid home and community-based services.
Jason has also served as an expert witness in high-profile cases, including the disbarment of unethical elder law attorneys. He has authored several authoritative publications on elder law and Medicaid and has taught as an adjunct professor at Tulane University, Stetson University College of Law, and the University of Maryland Carey School of Law. His contributions have earned him numerous awards, including the Alzheimer’s Association Alois Society Leadership Award. Jason continues to serve on multiple boards, promoting the rights of older adults and individuals with disabilities.
